I now have win 7, Pro, x64. Moving my njstar to this system, seems as if the njstar input is fighting the win 7 input method.
To get Chinese to display, the help said I had to set locale to China. Now that's just silly.
But, on the NJSTAR side;
In NJSTAR, if I try to toggle ascii - pinyin input, win 7 seems to catch it & put me in chinese input, so when I toggle to enter ascii I get the win 7 thinking I'm inputting pinyin, & popping up its pinyin widow, ... & well I think you get it, a mess.
I guess I can look to change the toggle keys for input, for NJSTAR &/or win7, but if anyione has been there before, or thought about this, can they let me know the best way?
Any pointers, much appreciated.
>> Use Cntrl?
Arh thanks.
Here is what it looks like on Chinese
so press escape many times, get rid of that & press CNTRL key
now in ASCII - press NI and it looks like this
Like I said, it seems that the windows 7 IME keeps fighting the NJSTAR input method. I can EVERY SINGLE TIME go & tell the windows 7 IME to change back to English, but that is REALLY REALLY tedious.
I know,, this is more a windows 7 problem than an NJSTAR problem, but maybe you know an answer?
Thanks.
